Good Morning SCMS Families,
The fourth and final nine weeks is under way and with KPREP scheduled for May 8-14, it's hard to believe we only have 7 days until state testing! Currently, our last day of school is scheduled for May 21. Key dates: SCMS 8th grade graduation/awards on the 20th (9:30-11:30), 6th/7th grade awards on the 21st (9:30-11:30), 8th grade Belle trip on May 21st. We always have some questions regarding dress attire for the Belle of Louisville trip. Here's some tips from our teachers: 1. Absolutely no jeans and no shorts. 2. Wear your Sunday best. Dress, khakis, dress suit, tuxedo if you feel inclined 3. Wear shoes the whole time. Bring flip flops to change into if needed 4. Make sure everything is covered and appropriate length, with nothing hanging out. *Mr. Buynak is getting more Belle and Graduation information home next week. Reminder: All applications & teacher recommendation forms for STLP/Grizzly News for next year will be available outside my classroom after lunch today. Everything is due by May 10th.
