We are now living The Leader in Me’s, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. To practice what we teach, my weekly correspondence follows the 7 Habits theme: Habit 1 – Tomorrow we begin five consecutive days of KPREP state testing and SCMS has been trying to BE PROACTIVE. Thanks to our PTSO and everyone who decorated the school Friday. Our Kickoff to KPREP guest speaker, UofL Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Ken Lolla, spoke to students this morning. Habit 2 – All parents/students can BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND; KPREP State testing for all SCMS students is May 13-19. 5th Grade Visit – May 22, Final Exams - May 22, Belle Dance - May 26, Graduation practice - May 27, Graduation and Awards - May 28, 6th/7th Grade Awards day - May 26. Habit 3 – The Grizzly Arts Department will PUT FIRST THINGS FIRST – Grizzly Drama will be performing “Fiddler on the Roof” May 14-17 in the auditorium. Congrats to Grizzly Band for finishing 1st place overall this weekend in the Kings Island – Music in the Parks Competition!
