Good Morning Grizzly Families and Supporters, Week two is now in the books! We are off to a great start to the 2019-2020 school year. Our annual back to school dance sponsored by the girls basketball team was a success with over 100 students attending. 6th graders have transitioned possibly better than any group we've ever had. We have been very impressed with this group already. To stay current on day to day happenings at SCMS you can follow me on Twitter at @MrMercerSCMS or on the Spencer County Middle School Facebook Page. Just a friendly reminder, if you have not, please return back to school packets ASAP. Nurse Dippel, would also like to have all 6th grade immunizations and physicals immediately. We begin Fall MAP testing this week. 8th grade will test tomorrow, the 20th, 7th grade on Wednesday, the 21st, and 6th grade on Thursday, the 22nd. Please remind your son/daughter to be at school and try their best as this information is used for a variety of purposes. Congratulations to this year's STLP/Grizzly News crew: Ella Brown, Chloe Chesser, Thomas Fox, Emma Howe, Erin Kain, Drew Mallory, Bynnen Martin, Skyler Mills, Jacob Moore, Elizabeth Penrod, Reese Reynold, & Priya Riddle.
