Week three is complete and so is MAP testing! This is a short week for students due to Labor Day weekend, there will be no school Friday and Monday. Just a friendly reminder, if you have not, please return back to school packets ASAP, we will be contacting parents after Labor Day that has not provided this information. Attention 6th grade parents/guardians: Please send your child's Immunization Certificate and/or 6th grade Physical/Preventive Health Exam. Notices are going out this week for missing health records. Today is the last day to order your SCMS spirit wear online at http://scms.theapparelandawardsfactory.com The middle school Fall Chorus Concert will now be on October 8th at 7 pm in the Auditorium. Mr. Hanson's recycling crew is focused on making SCMS and the world a healthier place to live. Recycling pickups will be: 6th Grade Classrooms on Tuesdays, 7th Grade Classrooms on Wednesday's, and 8th Grade Classrooms on Thursday's. Thanks guys! Grizzly’s Beyond the Bell, our award winning after school programs first day will be September 3. Club lists will go home on Monday 8/26. Student do not have to sign up for particular clubs. We will not put a number cap on clubs so there will be plenty of room for everyone. Any student that has registered can stay any day (Monday-Thursday) from 2:30-5:30. We begin with a snack, then homework help, clubs & activities, and finish up with a team building activity. Parent pickup and bus drop-offs begin at 5:30pm. Girls basketball plays three times at home this week: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, games starting at 5:30pm. This meeting is for anyone interested in learning more about our trip- families who signed up last Spring do not need to attend. Everyone will now be required to show an I.D. prior to picking up or speaking to a child. All transportation notes and requests go to [email protected] . This program provides a bag of food items each Friday for students who have a food need at home.
